Coverage

Coverage and application cycle

Allocated for up to 15 m² over two MicroCem-FB coats and three PRP coats. Actual coverage varies with the substrate, absorption, application thickness, wastage and installer technique.

  1. Assess and prepare the structurally sound, dry pool shell and complete any separately specified waterproofing and movement detailing.
  2. Apply Primer NK and install the fibreglass mesh in accordance with current technical guidance.
  3. Apply two hand-trowelled coats of MicroCem-FB.
  4. Apply three coats of PRP, observing the required drying intervals.
  5. Allow the final protection to harden for at least 15 days at 20°C and 65% RH before filling; extend this period in cooler conditions.

The pool system uses the same material build-up as the MicroCem-FB benchtop kit: Primer NK, fibreglass mesh, MicroCem-FB, toner and VetroLiquido PRP. Choose a Nikkolor colour and PRP finish. Shopify calculates availability from the live inventory of every component.

Substrate requirements

Confirm substrate stability, preparation, moisture conditions, waterproofing and movement detailing before specifying the system.

Important limitations

Pool operating conditions

  • Water pH: 6.5–7.5
  • Free active chlorine: 0.7–1.5 ppm
  • Water temperature: 18–30°C
  • Avoid concentrated treatment chemicals contacting the coating
  • Chlorine shock treatments may reduce coating life and affect appearance

Professional application and project-specific feasibility assessment are required. This decorative system does not replace structural design, compliant waterproofing, crack treatment, movement joints, penetrations, filtration design or pool-shell repairs. Tools, waterproofing, repairs, freight and labour are not included.
