Information we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, this may include your name, email address, phone number, account details, delivery or billing information, project location and notes, sample or booking requests, order and payment status, support enquiries, photographs or documents you submit, and our communications with you. Our systems may also receive basic device, browser, page and referral information. Network addresses may be used to provide coarse security or approximate location processing, but raw IP addresses are not saved in first-party analytics.
Why we use information
We use information to answer enquiries; prepare quotes; manage accounts, samples, bookings, orders, payments, dispatch and support; keep business and transaction records; protect our website and users; troubleshoot and improve our services; and meet applicable operational or legal obligations. We use information only where it is reasonably needed for these purposes.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses essential browser storage and session information to remember choices, maintain carts, accounts and checkout state, provide security, and keep the site working. Optional first-party traffic analytics runs only after you choose Accept and may process approximate city, region and country derived from a network address locally. Raw IP addresses are not saved in analytics, and we do not collect exact location or GPS data. Optional Google Analytics and, where configured, the Meta Pixel remain separately optional and are not enabled unless you choose Accept. You can decline analytics and continue using the site; you can also clear the site's cookies and local storage in your browser to reset your choice.
First-party analytics and location limits
With analytics consent, we record privacy-safe page views, visible time, broad referral or campaign labels and safe interaction labels to understand traffic and improve the website. Approximate city, region and country may be derived from the network address and processed locally for reporting; the raw IP address is not saved in analytics. We do not collect browser geolocation, GPS coordinates or an exact address. Records collected before this privacy-safe analytics change cannot be used to infer a historical location.
Commerce, payments and service providers
Shopify supports our online catalogue, cart and Shopify checkout. Stripe processes payments for services that use Stripe checkout. We do not receive or store complete card numbers entered into those hosted payment services. Resend supports transactional and enquiry email where configured. We also use website hosting, database, security, delivery and professional service providers as needed to operate the business. Each provider handles only the information needed to perform its role and may apply its own privacy terms.
Disclosure boundaries
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose relevant information to payment, commerce, email, website, professional, freight or delivery providers; to a person you authorise; where needed to prevent misuse or protect rights and safety; or where disclosure is required by law. We do not give providers permission to use information for unrelated Lux Cement purposes.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and our systems, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. We keep records only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, support, dispute and security needs, and applicable record-keeping obligations. Retention therefore varies by record type, after which information is deleted, de-identified or securely disposed of where practicable.
Processing outside Australia
Some service providers, including commerce, payment, email, analytics, hosting or infrastructure providers, may process or store information outside Australia or use overseas personnel or systems. The location depends on the provider and service configuration. Using this website may therefore involve information being handled in other countries under the provider's safeguards and applicable terms.

You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to or correction of it. Contact us using the details below and identify the relevant enquiry, account or order. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where permitted or required, in which case we will explain the reason where appropriate.
